Extreme Privacy was written by Michael Bazzell, a former FBI agent. This is one of the best books I've read related to privacy. The book is focused heavily on practical application; firewall setup, VPN configuration, real life privacy practices, etc. It's a heavy read, so plan on spending a while to read through it.
Some sections of the book may not apply to your situation specifically, as Michael covers specific configurations for different types of devices, such as iPhones, Androids, and routers. All the chapters are worth reading regardless.
About half of the book is focused on real life application of privacy practices. This is where most people are going to have trouble with implementing the strategies from this book, as it requires a lot of discipline and attention to detail. Michael correctly emphasizes that one small break in the OPSEC chain will undo much of your hard work. Some of the strategies will also be too much for some people, as doing everything talked about in the book would require significant lifestyle changes. I still recommend reading it even for someone who just wants to implement a few pieces of it for themselves.
